Pekko has been creating music in various bands since his early teenhood. Once a bassist in a death metal band, Pekko now makes expertly texturized techno. His live sets are somewhat of a legendary affair in his hometown of Helsinki also earning him praises from Resident Advisor in a festival review from a few years back ツ. This highly self-critical artist known for destroying his own work once stated “The world is full of lukewarm stuff and I don’t want to put out anymore of that”. In addition to his own music, Pekko ran the popular Sexdate event series in Helsinki together with Sebastian Holm for a couple of years, booking acts like Lipelis, Leo Pol, Ansome and Brawther to name a few. Now we have the huge pleasure of having Pekko perform a live set for our, and his own enjoyment.
