Jymy

Jymy has been throwing parties since 2004, all the while collecting records regardless of genre or age, underground or overground. The parties however tend to be more for those who know, throwing small events in off-locations. In his own words, this night for Post Bar might see him delve into his collection of releases from Hessle Audio, Bonzai and Music From Memory to name a few.

Jerome

Growing up in Alsace, Jerome’s selection has somehow never shaken off the conflicted Franco-German mindset of his birthplace. Oscillating early on between stoner beats ala Mo’ Wax, geeky IDM and b-boy oriented disco, while nurturing Dutch electro noirceur and Perlon-style minimalism behind the scene. The chaotic eclecticism of the beginnings has slowly turned into a coherent storytelling based on tonality, emotion and message rather than genre. Expect anything between dad rock, traditional folk songs, french chanson, 90s electronica, jazz-funk, sluggish goth disco and hazy garage house.
