DJ Slyngshot

DJ Slyngshot’s style and selections bring to mind the combination of a Belgian rave and New York city nightlife in the 80's and 90's, mixing old school electro, us garage, acid, and groovy techno (even trance), with hip hop influences flying in and out. The legendary club Zanzibar in New Jersey also comes to mind. These are of course said only through the speculative lens of the imagination of a person who wasn’t there. However, it is clear that this mysterious German latches onto a certain kind of organicretroeuphoric feeling, blending tracks in a way that makes them feed each other. DJ Slyngshot has been releasing cassettes and vinyls since 2014 through his own label YAPPIN, all the while growing his reputation across Europe. Friends of all night dancing, do not miss this.
