After weeks of techno-orientated weekend nights, it’s time for something a bit more organic and smiley. Raphaël Top-Secret is one of Europe’s foremost diggers. At one point while living in Brussels, he used to wake up at 5AM some mornings just to go dig at the flea market nearby, and he regularly finds time to check out local record shops on his travels. Indeed, he’ll be arriving a day early to Helsinki as well to see what the city has to offer. For Raphaël, finding and sharing music is his most enriching form of artistic expression. Fortunately, he isn’t digging just for the sake of digging, he’s got mad DJ sensibilities to match those records. Expect anything from Boogie and Afro-Carribean synth bangers to late 80’s housey doings.
