DVS1 is doing much more for techno than playing brilliant sets for people to lose themselves into. With an engagement in dance music spanning over two decades, he’s been a clubber, DJ, promoter, club owner and sound engineer, gaining more insight into the inner works than most people do in their lifetimes. In the fall of last year he launched S.O.S (Support Organize Sustain), an independent iniative to promote community and artistry in the ever-commercializing industry that is dance music.

With a lazer sharp focus on why he does what he does, it’s hard to think of anyone in his position with a more dedicated attitude. We’re honored to have him play an extended set this Friday at Post Bar. Our city's own Emma Valtonen does the warmup. Doesn't get much better than this for techno-lovers.
